Important Information About Your Application Requirements
STEP BY STEP - COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION:
The first step is to set up and request your Application Account - you will receive two email confirmations before beginning your application
The first confirmation is automated - please check your Email Inbox (and Spam folder) to confirm the email address you have provided
The second confirmation email (within 24 business hours) is when your account has been approved
***If you submit your application after Noon on a Friday - it may be Monday morning before the account is approved
Be sure to upload all required documents to complete your application. You will receive a welcome email with information about your next steps
You can request a work assignment to start your on-the-job learning with one of our contractors when your application is complete
***Completing an application for one of our programs DOES NOT guarantee employment with one of our contractors
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FOR THE
INSIDE WIREMAN OR TELECOMMUNICATIONS APPRENTICESHIP:
Photo ID
Birth Certificate OR Passport
High School Diploma (or transcripts) or GED Certificate **If you are a current HS Senior applying before graduating - you can submit your transcripts showing you are on track to graduate - and then send a copy of your diploma to ADMIN@aejatc.org when you receive it (before June 1st for fall semester)
Proof of Residence
ARE YOU A VETERAN? Veterans may take advantage of the application processing fee waiver as well as Veterans Training Benefits by providing a copy of a DD-214 Long Form at the time of application. Contact Val McFall at vmcfall@aejatc.org about the fee waiver before starting your application. Ask about the other ways to utilize your VA benefits through the apprenticeship programs. *Non-Veterans skip this section

Veterans may take advantage of the application processing fee waiver as well as advanced standing in the CW Program by providing a copy of a DD-214 Long Form at the time of application. Contact Val McFall at vmcfall@aejatc.org about the fee waiver before starting your application. Ask about advanced standing opportunities for veterans in the CE Program.
The Construction Electrician Program is not an apprenticeship - and does not require an aptitude test for admission.
Applying for the CE program with no experience does not guarantee you a job with a contractor; positions are limited for CE Program applicants with no experience.
