Application and Testing FEES:
There is a non-refundable Application Processing Fee of $23 for each application for each of our three programs.
Applicants for Inside Wireman or Telecommunications Apprenticeships also pay for the $23 Aptitude Test Fee at the time of their application, which is a total of $46.

The Construction Electrician Program is not an apprenticeship - and does not require an aptitude test for admission.

Your first step is creating an account in our system (TradeSchool). After you have received the second confirmation email - use the link provided to start and complete your application.

STEP BY STEP - COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION:
The first step is to set up and request your Application Account - you will receive an email confirmation from us within 24 hours.
After receving your confirmation (check your Inbox and Spam folders) - you can then begin your application by hitting START NOW.
Be sure to upload all required documents to complete your application. You will receive a welcome email with information about your next steps.
You can request a work assignment to start your on-the-job learning with one of our contractors when your application is complete.
Background Checks: if you have a felony less than 10 years old, email the details to rsmith@aejatc.org before you apply.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FOR THE
INSIDE WIREMAN OR TELECOMMUNICATIONS APPRENTICESHIP:
Photo ID
Birth Certificate OR Passport
High School Diploma (or transcripts) or GED Certificate **If you are a current HS Senior applying before receiving your diploma - submit your application by the deadline - and send a copy of your diploma to ADMIN@aejatc.org after you receive it
Proof of Residence
The following items may be used as proof of residence
Mortgage Statement/Warranty Deed with your name on it
Last Year's W-2 Form with your current address
Voter Registration Card (for a digital copy: https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/)
Paycheck stub (that includes name and address)
Lease Agreement with your name on it
If you do not have any of these documents - please use this Proof of Residence form.
Bills and other mail MAY NOT be used as proof of residence
