Irmãos Passos School Cluster and its SUC Student

A construção do “Aluno SUC” que orienta a ação do Agrupamento de Escolas Irmãos Passos (AEIP). Qualquer ser humano deve alicerçar a construção da sua personalidade em 2 dimensões: individual e social. Se, por um lado, o aluno tem de desenvolver competências que lhe conferem individualidade, por outro, também deve criar capacidades que lhe confiram um status para bom desempenho social, de modo a viver em harmonia com os pares. Tendo em conta esses pressupostos, defendemos que o aluno da nossa escola seja SOLIDÁRIO, UTÓPICO e CRÍTICO (SUC). No mundo de hoje é imperioso que cada jovem tenha a noção da importância da solidariedade. Por outro lado, em termos individuais e sociais, deve de existir um horizonte de utopia. Utopia na realização dos sonhos de cada um, no desejo de se construir uma sociedade feliz. Por fim, apraz-nos, de modo inequívoco, afirmar que, só com seres humanos críticos se constrói uma sociedade na defesa da equidade e justiça social.

The construction of the "SUC Student" guides Irmãos Passos School Cluster's action (AEIP). Any human being must base the construction of his/her personality on 2 dimensions: individual and social. If, on the one hand, the student must develop skills that give him/her individuality, on the other hand, he/she must also create skills that give him/her a status for good social performance, in order to live in harmony with peers. Taking into account these assumptions, we advocate that the students in our school be SOLIDARY, UTOPIC, and CRITICAL (SUC). In today's world it is imperative that every child/ teenager shares a sense of the importance of solidarity. On the other hand, in individual and social terms, there must be a horizon of utopia. Utopia in the realization of each person's dreams, in the desire to build a happy society. Finally, we are unequivocally pleased to say that only with critical human beings can a society be built in defence of equity and social justice.
