The women's sector champions gender equality and the empowerment of women.  It addresses systemic inequalities and discrimination faced by women in various aspects of their lives, including economic opportunities, political participation, access to healthcare and education, and protection from violence and discrimination.  The sector works to advance women's rights, promote their full participation in society, and create a more equitable and just world for all genders.
