The General or Multi-Sectoral approach recognizes the interconnectedness of various societal issues and the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups in the Philippines.  It aims to address the needs of a broad spectrum of individuals, including overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who often face exploitation and separation from their families; women, who experience gender-based violence and discrimination; senior citizens, who require adequate healthcare and social support; and individuals facing health disparities, such as those with limited access to quality medical care.  This holistic approach seeks to create systemic change by advocating for policies and programs that promote inclusivity, equity, and social justice across all sectors, ensuring that the voices and needs of these marginalized communities are heard and addressed effectively.
