Advocacy: • Anti-Drug Advocacy: Leading the Crime Watch Volunteers (CWV) in their efforts to assist authorities in drug prevention and enforcement, and promoting community drug awareness. Advocates for a drug-free Zamboanga through collaboration with law enforcement and active community involvement.
• Education and Awareness: Advocating for youth education on legal matters such as RA 11313 (Anti-Bastos Law), Project Sagip, and the prohibition of certain activities during the election period, aimed at promoting safety and civic responsibility among students and the general public.

Achievements:
Leadership in CWV: Successfully leading the Crime Watch Volunteers (CWV), which is the only civil society organization in the region accredited by PDEA.
Strong Partnership with Law Enforcement: Continuously working closely with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and order in Zamboanga City.
Recognition by PDEA: The PDEA Region 9 acknowledged the significant contributions of CWV under Sonnyboy Jalani's leadership for their unwavering commitment to the anti-drug campaign.
Humanitarian and Rescue Services: CWV, under his leadership, also participates in humanitarian efforts and rescue services to support the community.
Community Engagement in Education: Collaborated with ZCPS6 Personnel and Hon. Sonnyboy Cuevas Jalani, the Committee Chairman on Peace and Order of Barangay Tetuan, to conduct an informative lecture for Grade 12 students of Talon-Talon National High School. The session focused on RA 11313 (Anti-Bastos Law), Project Sagip, and NLE regulations.
