Medical students from the Municipality of Mahayag participated in the first flag ceremony of the year, joined by  Dr. Jerald O. Ramos and the Mayor Manuel T. Saladga. The ceremony underscored the importance of national pride, unity, and service to the nation, with the students playing an active role in the proceedings. Mayor Manuel T. Saladga, Dr. Jerald O. Ramos, and LGU employees highlighted the significance of education and public service, encouraging the students to aspire toward leadership in healthcare and community development.

The flag ceremony left a lasting impact on both the students and local officials, reinforcing the connection between education, public service, and national identity. For the medical students, it was a moment to reflect on their future roles in healthcare and their commitment to the community. For the local government, it served as a reminder of the importance of fostering collaboration between medical professionals and local leadership to build a stronger, healthier future for Mahayag.
