Both parties can chose when to access their emails; it can be a useful reference for learners and keeps a record of activities.
For tutors it can save time by sending group emails. Make sure to use the blind copy 'bc' feature to adhere with GDPR

Moodle learners log in with username and password. Access to their course and the topics are only a click away.
Googlesuite /classroom learner must have a Gmail account . Tutors must add learner email addresses to their Google Classroom or Drive to give learners access to course materials and assignments.
zoom is accessible via an ID as a username and a password both of which must be sent to learners' by tutor. No email account is needed if details are sent via messenger or chat.

If you have a bad internet connection, don't feel pressure to use your webcam. Instead use your microphone, which allows you to connect with others and uses lessbandwith.
