- Stable internet connection

The following are tips for new online
tutors
:
Get to know your students, do a needs analysis.
Planning is key, but have a back-up plan in case things don't work as you thought.
Plan fully and make sure there is a variety of different materials.
Check that the technology works.
Understand your p

Review the teaching materials beforehand.
Make sure the students are confident of how the class works.
Run an orientation session before you start teaching.
Be prepared to use your face a lot.
Questions for you to consider:
Do I need to be delivering everything live at the time of planned sessions?
What proportion of the class do I need to be visible/ available for the learners?
How much of the session can I / should I pre-plan?
Discuss with your manager what suits best your delivery style.
Will the course be mainly for one to one learning or support or will it be group teaching ?
