Ms. Sorensen co- facilitated professional development on one of the 4 C's, creativity in the fall of 2016.
Ms. Sorensen and Mr. Johnston presented, Inquiry: More than Just Science at an ACS sponsored PD day.
Ms. Sorensen presented K- 2 Digital Tools with iPads this fall. Teachers successfully used the tools modeled in their classrooms. Here is an example of explaining force and motion concepts using Adobe Spark.

This fall, the ACS elementary media coordinators presented a district-wide professional development session, "Engage Your Students With Inquiry." The session focused on identifying ways inquiry can be integrated into every elementary classroom.
