Teachers were surveyed at the end of the 2016-2017 school year to find out how the Digital Media Team can better support our teachers and students. Based on the results, teachers want more planning time together, more co- teaching opportunities, more modeling of digital tools and more student resources. Teachers would also like more support with STEAM lessons, student creation tools, student engagement resources and MakerSpace use. These goals will help drive our mission for next year.
Continue to coach teachers in their understanding of SAMR and support them as they move from Substitution to Redefinition.
- Increase the use of our MakerSpace and offer an expanded variety of activities
- Promote inquiry across the curriculum
- Genrefy the library's fiction collection to promote accessibility
