Student safety is our priority in every decision. We continuously monitor global events and emerging developments that could affect the safety of our students and faculty and we recognize that families may have different levels of comfort with travel.
We ask each family to consider whether they are comfortable with their child participating in each Viper Venture trip.
ACS will work with the professional risk assessment company included in our insurance coverage and the U.S. Embassy for destinations outside the UAE to assess risks and inform our decisions.
As each trip approaches, we will review the latest information and any new guidance to determine whether the trip should proceed, be modified, or be canceled. We will communicate decisions to families as early as possible.
We frequently receive questions regarding refunds in the event of student illness or unexpected trip cancellations. While no insurance policy or travel arrangement can guarantee a full refund under every circumstance, please be assured that the school will always act in the best interest of our families.
Should a trip be disrupted or a student be unable to attend due to illness, our team will make every possible effort to recover funds from third-party vendors (such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators) to reimburse affected families. Our travel insurance policy serves as an added layer of support to help offset qualifying costs that are not recoverable through vendors. Should a travel delay result in unexpected extra expenses, our team will seek all recoverable funds from travel providers, with our insurance policy helping to cover qualifying additional costs where applicable.
We appreciate your continued partnership and support as we work to provide safe, meaningful travel experiences for our students.
