This week-long Cyprus program combines cultural immersion, environmental conservation, and outdoor adventure. After a warm welcome in Larnaca, the group travels to the mountain village of Kritou Tera, where they learn traditional skills such as bread baking, weaving, and gourd carving, while also becoming familiar with the village and its history. The following days focus on hands-on environmental projects, including biodiversity surveys at Kremiotis Waterfall, a guided hike through the ecologically rich Akamas Peninsula, and a beach cleanup and microplastic survey on turtle nesting beaches.
Alongside the service work, students enjoy a balance of cultural activities, team-building challenges, and adventure. Rock climbing, archery, and campfire gatherings round out the experience, offering time for reflection and connection. The journey concludes back in Larnaca with a visit to local churches, markets, and the seaside before departure, leaving participants with lasting memories of community, conservation, and culture.

Visa requirement: Not everyone requires a Cyprus visa to enter Cyprus. Citizens of EU countries and several other countries are on the visa waiver list, so they don’t have to travel to Cyprus on a visa; however, if your country is not on the list, you definitely need a visa to enter Cyprus. It is the parents' responsibility to obtain and purchase the visa. This can be done through the VFS network. For some, a visit to the embassy/consulate may be required, so it is essential for all families to check the visa status of their children when booking the trip. Mountain Quests will provide supporting documents where needed, upon your request.
