Students will work alongside passionate conservationists at Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam's oldest national park, to combat wildlife trafficking and support habitat restoration. Activities include assisting with animal care, nighttime safaris, and learning about the illegal wildlife trade. The trip also connects classroom learning to real-world challenges, fostering self-discovery, intercultural competence, and collaborative engagement.
Beyond conservation work, students will explore Vietnam's rich cultural heritage. Highlights include a sampan ride through Ninh Binh's stunning limestone karsts, a visit to Hanoi's bustling Old Quarter, and cultural evenings featuring folk performances and water puppetry. With a focus on sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this journey offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while experiencing Vietnam's breathtaking landscapes, vibrant traditions, and delicious cuisine. Visa requirement: Most nationalities will need to apply for an e-visa in advance. Some nationalities are exempt from the e-visa requirement. You can check the list of exempt passports on the Vietnamese government visa page.
It is the parents' responsibility to obtain and purchase the visa, if necessary. After trip registration, parents will receive detailed instructions for application. The e-visa application is completed online and costs $25 USD.
