Discover the heart of Jordan through a weeklong Arabic language immersion program in Amman, where culture, history, and community come alive. Students will begin their journey with engaging classes at Sijal focused on practical, real-world topics—ranging from food and music to hobbies, sports, and the environment—while practicing speaking skills over shared meals and activities. From exploring Amman’s bustling markets and Roman Theater to learning Dabke dance, playing traditional instruments, and joining local schoolchildren in art and sports exchanges, each day blends language learning with meaningful cultural connection.
Beyond Amman, students will travel to Jerash and Ajloun Castle for an unforgettable look at Jordan’s history, spend a day engaging in service and environmental learning with local partners, and venture to Wadi Rum for a desert Jeep tour and traditional Zarb dinner under the stars. The program culminates with a full-day visit to Petra, one of the world’s most iconic archaeological wonders. Through immersive lessons, community partnerships, and firsthand cultural experiences, this trip offers students a unique opportunity to deepen their Arabic skills while forging lasting memories in Jordan.
