In this course, students are encouraged to get to know the life and the culture of the German-speaking countries. Students will have many possibilities to experience the German language most authentically. During the first year, students of this class are expected to achieve basic communicative skills so as to speak about themselves, their friends and family and to describe their everyday life at school and during their free time. At the end of this course, the learners will also be able to understand and to write simple and small texts (e-mail,) about familiar and everyday matters. E-learning concepts and methods of the ACS i²Flex educational program are integrated into the learning process. This class is a beginner class. It is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who have had no experience or no more than one year of experience in learning German.
