The Carney Makerspace is a place where students can explore, design, and create. It is a hands-on learning environment where ideas turn into real projects using tools, technology, and creativity.
In the Makerspace, students can experiment with equipment like 3D printers, laser cutters, and digital design tools to build projects, solve problems, and learn new skills. Whether you enjoy art, engineering, design, coding, crafting, or technology, the Makerspace gives you a place to try new things and bring your ideas to life.
Our vision is to create a space where students can wonder, explore, and develop their talents. The Makerspace encourages curiosity, creativity, and innovation across many areas including: Art, Engineering, Technology, and Creative problem solving.
Makerspaces help students learn by doing. When you design and build projects, you develop important skills that are useful in school and in future careers.
The Makerspace is open to students who are curious, creative, and ready to learn. Whether you are trying something for the first time or building an advanced project, this is a place where your ideas can grow.
