Student Artist Statement 2 EXAMPLE
Student Artist Statement 3 EXAMPLE
Make sure when you write your Artist Statement, you follow the directions below:
Make sure your artwork is finished and took AT LEAST 3 classes to create.
Take a pic of your completed artwork.
Move your artwork pic to you Google Drive... There are many ways to do this. Ask around if you don't know how.
Open a NEW Google Doc and write your Artist Statement. Include your FULL NAME and TEAM.
Make sure to answer ALL of the following questions:
-What is your theme and how did you show your theme visually in your art?
-Tell me one thing that you really enjoyed about making this work of art.
-Tell me one thing that really challenged you about making this work of art.
-Write a strong closing sentence that finishes the Artist Statement... Ideas for this might be future plans for other works or materials you want to use or did you enjoy or not enjoy the process? Any sentence that summarizes or relates to art making will do well. :)
These questions can be answered in paragraph form or list form... All responses should be complete sentences though.
Put your artwork pic ON YOUR GOOGLE DOC that the Artist Statement is written on.
Pass in the Google Doc THROUGH GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Please do not share or email Ms. Nielsen any docs or pics.
