Getting Started!

OK!! We're here and we're ready to use Studio Time to make something!

So what's acceptable to work on today?

• Working on the above mentioned grid drawing

• Working on the above mentioned artful skills handouts

• Comic Strips, practicing anime drawing, drawing super heroes

• Creating a drawing from your imagination

• Creating a drawing from observation

• A self portrait

• Finding a drawing tutorial online and then making your own drawing

What's NOT acceptable to work on today?

• Doing artwork/projects for other classes. An example would be drawing a map for a Social Studies assignment or creating imagery to go along with a poem for English. Your art is supposed to serve only the purpose of creating for this class, not double dipping by making art here that is also for another assignment.

• Video games, even if they have to do with art.
