EVERYONE is going to actively work on and complete an Art Portfolio this semester. That is really the only art expectation that I have.
To fill an Art Portfolio, naturally you HAVE to be making things. What you make, the theme, the materials, etc. will be up to you BUT everyone will have 10-19 slides in their art portfolio that will show how they spent their time in Art 2 and how they developed as artists.

Your Art Portfolio will be made using Google slides.
Each week you will take a digital photo of your artwork (completed or in progress) that you worked on during our in class time.
Each photo will have it's own Google Slide where you reflect on what you created, how you felt about your work and generally comment on your art making for that week. (More on what to/how to explain your artwork later!)
Each complete slide (artwork photo & written reflection) will be added to a Google Slides presentation that will then become your Art Portfolio.
It doesn't matter if your Art portfolio contains all completed work or only progress work... Everyone works differently and your's will be your own personal art journey!
