They will:

Gahr High School wants to know about your post-graduation plans and any Grant or Scholarship awards you received. Please follow the steps below to complete your Senior Survey.
If you haven't decided where you're going yet, please fill out the Survey Form when you do!
Deadline is May 2nd!
Kindly note that completing this survey is a MANDATORY graduation requirement!
STEP 1:
Check your ABCUSD EMAIL : Survey will be emailed periodically until due date!
STEP 2:
Please EMAIL: GAHRCLASS2023@GMAIL.COM with PROOF of the information you included in your survey.
Submit proof of your acceptance if you will be attending a 4-year college/university.
Submit proof of all of your scholarships, grants, and other monetary awards.
Documents of proof may include: an acceptance letter/email from the college/university, financial aid award letters, and scholarship/grant award letters.

Cerritos Complete Promise Program requirements:
They will be removing students from the program after 4/30 if they have not completed these requirements by the deadlines.
Step 3 – Submit a FAFSA or DREAM Act application and list Cerritos College for 2023-2024 : Deadline 3/2/23. Extended Deadline 4/30/23.
If a student has “SUBMITTED-BUT NEEDS TO FIX ERRORS” – they will need to login and check if their FAFSA or DREAM act was processed correctly. Once they login, they can check their SAR and it will explain what needs to be fixed (for example – if their parent didn’t sign it).
Step 4 – Complete your Self-Report Tool (SRT) for Math and English/ESL Placement in your MyCerritos account : Deadline 3/31/23. We will extend this deadline to 4/29/23 – but recommend that students finish it ASAP so they can continue with the requirements.

Login to your MyCerritos account using your Cerritos College Student ID number and password
Once in MyCerritos screen, scroll down to the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Will find “Placement” section.
Click on “English/ESL SRT” link to complete placement process for an English/ESL course placement.
Click on “Math SRT” link to complete placement process for math course placement.
You must complete both SRT links to receive placement results.
Please allow 2 – 3 business days to post to unofficial transcripts and have Assessment hold removed.
Step 5 (A) Complete the online Falcon Edge Orientation in your MyCerritos account : Deadline 4/1/23. We will extend this deadline to 4/29/23 – but recommend that students finish it ASAP so they can continue with the requirements.
A - Students can complete the asynchronous Falcon Edge Orientation in their MyCerritos account
Login to your MyCerritos account with your Cerritos College Student ID
Once in MyCerritos screen, click on “Falcon Edge Orientation”
The online orientation is a 90 minute session that is designed for first time college students. Orientation is REQUIRED for all new to college students.
Step 5 (B) attend an Orientation Workshop : Deadline 4/29/23 – the last workshop is 4/29/23, there will not be additional workshops. Flyer for step 5A and B is attached.
B – Sign up and Attend the Orientation Workshop. All students received an email from Counseling staff -> nduenas@navigate.cerritos.edu
In the Workshop, Students will meet with a Counselor to discuss their Education Plan for Summer and Fall 2023
There will be workshops available online or in-person during the end of February-April. Below are the remaining workshops.
Tuesday, 4/18 at 4:30pm-7pm on Zoom
Wednesday, 4/19 at 4:30pm-7pm on Zoom
Saturday, 4/22 8am-4pm in-person at Cerritos College (there will be two slots during this time period for 2.5 hours).
Tuesday, 4/25 at 4:30pm-7pm in-person at Cerritos College
Saturday, 4/29 8am-4pm in-person at Cerritos College (there will be two slots during this time period for 2.5 hours). This is the final workshop.

Students will only be allowed to miss 1 workshop. They can reschedule once, but if they do not attend their 2nd workshop – they will not be able to continue in Cerritos Complete Promise Program. If students do not attend a workshop by 4/29, they will not be allowed to continue in Cerritos Complete Promise Program.
