The zone. You know the one, that zone you get into when you are working. It’s rare and fleeting when you're out in public, especially when you're not looking for it. But what about when you are looking for it? You could try working at the park, or the library? Oftentimes the recommendation is a coffee shop. If we had to choose a great location Starbucks would be it.
One shining aspect that sticks out was the barista who crafted my drink. He was exceptionally friendly, engaged in pleasant small talk, and made my drink quickly. Going to a coffee shop is hard for me, I like my coffee just the way I make it at home. Pot of black coffee with the right amount of French vanilla. When I go to these coffee shops it's not the same. So I have to get creative with things I am willing to try and might actually like. That's where a broad menu is really nice to select from. I will admit that from time to time (maybe once every few years) I do like a blended macchiato, but not enough to make me a regular customer. What they do have that has made me a long time customer, and lover of their menu is their trenta black tea/ lemonade. Otherwise known as an Arnold Palmer. This drink is superior to other coffee shops that sell the same thing because of the simplicity of the make. Other locations will use specialty teas, with random lemonades. It's always a gamble, yet when we get to Starbucks, I can feel safe knowing that the drink I want is going to be delicious.
As vibes go, this is a pretty hustle and bustle location. Depending on the time you’ll either see people diligently working on their laptops (me!) or tables full of chatter and smiling faces. The location offers several small tables and chairs, and a long booth with tables that is more than accommodating for both working by yourself and having a get together whilst catching up.
I found myself keeping pleasantly productive with limited space. When you first sit down its kind of like a plug and play, simply get out your laptop or tablet, click the WIFI button and agree to the terms. Boom. You’re up and working. As with anywhere else in the world there are unforeseen circumstances that will arise. For instance the need to use the restroom. If you’re anything like me I don't like to ask for a password or a key from anyone unless it's dire. Starbucks offers no a no key needed solution.
Starbucks earns its 3 stars. I highly recommend stopping by and getting some work done.
