Best Animation

Animation is a diverse technique with many different styles. Our animation category is open to all animation styles. We mainly have Pixilations, which is the technique of photographing persons or objects in successive positions, or models to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence.

Other types of animation include (but are not limited to) stop-motion, 3D digital animation, 2D digital animation, rotoscoping, clay/sand animation, stamp animation, paint on glass, and many other experimental types. For the purposes of the ABC Video Awards, all types of animation will be acceptable. Please read the Rules & Regulations for time limitations.
