All submissions will be added by the organisers to the LRC Youtube DVA playlists and made public.
All 5 Competitive Categories submissions will be voted on through a Google form. The winner will be decided by a combination of popularity and a vote from the Judges of the competition.
Both ABC Categories will be decided by the Judges of the competition only.
Judges for the 2 ABC Categories will be looking at:
Camera work is steady, a variety of shots and movement techniques have been used where applicable.
Sound, dialogue or narration is clear and audible. It helps establish a mood for the video, and is a good fit.
The video's topic is relevant and made obvious to the viewer; it must be informative, accurate, succinct, and engage the viewer's attention.
Creativity and originality in the use of lighting, props and special effects, which enhance the content of the video.
Titles and credits are used to acknowledge the work of all individuals involved in the production, as well as the copyright holders (owners/producers/artists) of any other media which was used, such as video clips, still pictures, information/research and music.
