Netball Festivals-Term 4 2022/23
This term the netball team enjoyed playing in Fun 5s festival alongside other Aberdeen primary schools. This was a great opportunity for the team to develop their skills in a fun and relaxed environment. The team were proud to win all 3 of their matches- well done!
Netball Festivals- Term 3 2022/23
Netball Club have had a busy term of matches and festivals. We have enjoyed participating in two festivals at Sheddocksley and hosting a match against Heathryburn School. These have been great opportunities for the team to apply the skills they have been building during training- showcasing some excellent passes, footwork and shooting. Well done!
Netball Festivals- Term 2
2022/23
The Netball Club enjoyed participating in their first festival at Sheddocksley Sports Centre and a second at Kincorth. We played 3 fast-paced, competitive matches; resulting in a draw on our second match and a win on our third match. Well done!
Winter Session
Sessions range for beginners to more rapid runners. This was a 3 x 600m with 1 lap sprints at the end. Younger runners were running one lap and walking a lap.
The goal is to improve fitness and endurance. Hopefully, breaking a PB at a Junior Parkrun or race.
Former Pupil Continues to Excel
One of our most motivated runners being presented by Team GB athlete, Zoey Clark. This former pupil has continued post Westpark AC with running and has won many awards for her efforts since joining AAAC.
