Our House system is designed to encourage positive behaviour and teamwork. This provides an additional opportunity for recognising good behaviour. We hope the system will encourage children to work together as part of a larger team or family. We really want to encourage our children to value and respect one another.
Every child and teacher will belong to a House, with brothers and sisters belonging to the same House. House point counters are awarded to children to post in their appropriate house on the counter board. Awarded house points are counted weekly and then termly. At the end of each term the winning house will receive a reward, such as longer playtime or use of special equipment.
The primary seven's have to make an application clearly outlining how they uphold the Tullos Values and Golden Rules. Once selected, House Captains help to organise key school events and help with the collection and adding up of points - of course they also do their best to encourage their houses to earn as many points as they can!
