Uniform

It is the policy at Ferryhill School to have a school uniform and we welcome parents’ support in this. The uniform consists of grey/black trousers or skirt, white polo shirt and a blue sweatshirt.

For PE classes, children are expected to wear shorts and T -shirt and appropriate footwear. We would request that children do not wear football strips for gym or generally in the school.

All clothing and personal items should be labelled with your child’s name and class. This allows us to easily identify and return lost items to the right child.

Please note that you may be entitled to a school clothing grant.  Please visit the Aberdeen City Council site for further details:

Uniform Providers

Pre-loved Uniform from School

We welcome all families to take from our pre-loved school uniform stock, please ask at reception about this.

We would appreciate it if you could hand in any uniform that your child has out grown, this helps us to keep our stocks up.

Please treat our pre-loved uniform boxes as a swap shop - if you donate then please help yourself to a bigger size (or anything else you may need.)

Supermarkets

School clothing may also be purchased from regular retail outlets provided the colour scheme is honoured.

School badges for uniforms can be purchased from the Parent Council if you buy sweatshirts from a supermarket and wish to add badges.
