Houses
Houses
At Fernielea School, a house system is used to foster a sense of belonging and promote healthy competition among students and staff. Every individual is assigned to a specific house upon joining the school, creating smaller communities within the wider school environment. Throughout the school year, house points can be earned by both students and staff for demonstrating the school's vision and values. Points are also awarded for participation in events such as Sports Day and various inter-house competitions, which take place throughout the year, further encouraging teamwork and school spirit.Â
