Our Parent Council

At Fernielea, we work together with our Parent Council to get the best outcomes for our children.  Our Parent Council comprises of core office bearing roles and ordinary members.  WIthout them we would not be able to provide the opportunitties and support for our learners and their families.

Our recent AGM elected the new office bearing roles as follows:

Chair: Tom Muray (Parent of P6 pupil)

Secretary: Rachael West (Parent of P5 Pupil) and Hannah Fowler (Parent of P7 pupil)

Treasurer:  Lisa Howitt (Parent of P3 pupil)

We also welcomed new parents as ordinary members.  

All parents are welcome to attend any upcoming meetings.  

Meeting dates for this year 2026/27 are: 

Monday 2 November 3.15-4.15pm - Fernielea School

Thursday 14 January 3.15-4.15pm - Fernielea School

Monday 26 April 2026 3.15-4.15pm - Fernielea School

All parents on the Parent Council need to be PVG checked via the Parent Council before volunteering at events.
