When joining Fernielea Nursery children and families will be invited to an Introductory “Stay and Play Session”. This will take place in Term 4 (April-July) to allow the children to be introduced to the setting and staff.
Each family will then be requested to complete a Personal Plan alongside their child's keyworker. The Personal Plan meetings take place prior to the pupil starting at Fernielea Nursery to gather key information about each child.
Children will have two settling in sessions without their parent/carer. The first session is for an hour and the second is for two hours.
