Crew Curriculum - Term 1
Learning Intention - To work as a team to create your Crew identity.
Success Criteria - To agree upon a Crew name and to create your Crew board.
You have this week to create your Crew board. You must display your name clearly and then decide how you represent the members of your Crew on the board as well as any additional information you think is important.

Anything that is important to your Crew
British Sign Language Project
Learning Intention - To learn more about British Sign language
Success Criteria - To learn the BSL Alphabet and to be able to sign your own name. To perform a song as a class using BSL.
Crew Challenge:
As a Crew you are going to pick a song and learn it in sign language. At the end of the week you will perform it (and if you agree as a Crew record it).

Door Challenge
Kindness Door Challenge:
Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.
Kindness can mean different things to different people. The meaning is in how YOU choose to show it. Be it through empathy, acceptance, kind gestures, thoughtfulness, the possibilities are entirely up to you. Kindness might look like being helpful or showing empathy. It may mean doing nice things without expecting nice things in return.
Kindness is more than being nice.
Habits of Work and Learning

We are learning about the Habits of Work and learning, and how we can apply them in school and at home.

The importance of listening to others
Success criteria - I Can:
Identify my top 3-4 skills or attributes
Create a detailed poster evidencing how I developed my skills & attributes (through school tasks and extra curricular activities)
Show that I value others’ contributions by listening actively and responding appropriately

Crew Activity
This week, we would like for you to work with the rest of your Crew to take part in or create something which promotes positive mental health.
Pupils created various resources including; presentations, songs, poems and a mural.
