Crew

What is Crew? 

Crew is central to developing positive culture at Harlaw Academy. Crew brings together our pupil and staff community, promote shared understanding, and encourage all community members to become Crew. Relationships are central of everything we do. 

Crew is a space where students can feel safe and where they are able to show their strengths and vulnerabilities without fear or favour. The climate created in Crew must allow this to happen. 

Crew provides each student with a one-to-one relationship with an adults (Crew Leader) at the school, as well as a consistent and ongoing peer community. Crew Leaders monitor and support pupil progress, serve as the students advocate in difficult academic and social situations an act as the primary contact point.
