About  me

Week  1

 I got introduced to my teammates and the advisor and we were given orientation. And I got a basic understanding of the course as well as what was expected of us in this course. We agreed to meet up the next week and we were told to prepare our own idea of what the project should be and parted ways. 

Week 2

The second week to discuss the project concept with a group member and an adviser  on  each  individual project idea using form .  viewed the lectures that were posted on the online learning platform. I looked into several project ideas that would help achieve the UN SDG objectives. we discussed our goals, and he provided guidance on how to select concepts that balance local concerns, stay under budget, and utilize our resources efficiently. 

Week 3

In this week as group we are trying to choose top three  project idea .1,generate electricity 2, smart garden 3, simple washing machines and so on proproject  idea. Finally we agree to do generating electricity. This project aims to harness the power of rainwater to generate electricity for household use. It involves developing innovative methods to capture, store, and convert rainwater into a sustainable energy source. 

Week 4

In  this  week,The proposal is organized such that everything we require for the project is subjected and described with the utmost care and attention to detail,   We made further editing on the proposal. We also decided which materials we can buy and which ones we can make by ourselves. And this helped in controlling the budget under what we were provided. In the end we had all the information we needed on the costs from places that will sale the materials we wanted.

Week 6

In this week we are try to   ensure sound financial planning, we have conducted a detailed cost analysis of the identified materials. Each item has been researched, and the associated costs have been included in the overall project budget. This analysis helps us to allocate our financial resource effectively

Week 7

In this week  we initiated the purchase of various items essential for both the electronic and construction aspects of the project. These items included components such as motors, batteries, Wi-Fi modules, and relays for the electronic part, as well as supplies like papers, plywood, markers, and boards for the construction phase. 

Week 8 

Week 8 to initiation of the prototype fabrication the team members were assigned separate tasks. The civil construction team proceeded with the construction of the house according to the initial design blueprint. Simultaneously, the electrical team commenced testing and constructing the energy generating circuit and battery storage. Throughout this process, I gained insights into the significance of collaboration and communication in ensuring the seamless integration of all prototype components. Additionally, I recognized the value of adaptability and flexibility when confronted with unexpected challenges, which necessitated adjustments to our approach.

Week 9

During this week we faced some issues with the energy generation as the motor generator we purchased was inefficient for the project purposes. Therefore, we had to look for an alternative motor type to fit our project specification.   

Week 10

In This week While striving to enhance the prototype's design and functionality, we diligently conducted thorough testing and implemented any essential modifications to ensure its proper operation. Among these adjustments, we opted to utilize a custom-made  printed gear for the power generator, garden area with sincer aiming to improve energy generation capabilitie.  

Week 11

In this week we check the status of power, moisture and water level of the project. We also spent time preparing for our final presentation.
