Support the Library

Our school library relies on the support of our parents, families, Eberwhite PTO, and the community. There are many ways to support the library program at Eberwhite. Thank you in advance for your support!

Student Wish List

Our students are so thrilled to read, they often request and recommend more books than we have money to buy. Teachers also frequently request books we don't own in our collection. Please consider buying a book from our Library Wish List.

Book Fair

Our amazing Eberwhite PTO hosts an annual book fair at school in the fall. Volunteers are needed to help the book fair run smoothly. Proceeds from the book fair are used to purchase new books for each classroom teacher and the school library. More information and volunteer opportunites will be shared by the PTO in the fall.

Disinfectant Wipes and Facial Tissue Donations

Our library sees 6 - 8 classes daily, and hosts staff meetings and after school clubs in the evening. As a result, we go through disinfectant wipes and facial tissues rather quickly. We are always in need of these items. Thank you for your help with keeping our library space germ free!

Donors Choose

Created by a public school teacher, Donor's Choose is an online nonprofit organization that helps public school teachers get funding for classroom materials by allowing the community to donate directly to the project.

Please visit our Donor's Choose page to see live projects, or to view past projects that were funded!

We love when the Ann Arbor community supports these projects. All of the projects benefit the school, our students, and the library.

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to shelve returned library books and complete other small tasks. If you are interested in volunteering your time in the school library, please email Mrs. Player. Volunteer positions will open in October, once library routines are in place and all classrooms are actively borrowing books.
