Service Learning Example from Previous Years:

Care Kits for People that are Homeless:

1. We are going to collect items for our care kits by making an announcement and asking people to bring items to the A2 STEAM Community Potluck : 

• Gift cards to McDonalds, Starbucks, Panera and similar places for food and a warm dry place to be. 

• Applesauce, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, granola bars.

• Shopping bags or backpacks.

• Reusable water bottles.

• Hats, Gloves, Mittens

2. We will use what we collect to create the kits.

3. We will bring our kits to homeless people.
