Horticulture

The Horticulture course examines the history and avenues of the horticultural industry. Students look into methods of propagation in the horticulture industry, types of plants, controlling pests in horticultural settings, production of fruits and vegetables, and landscape design. Other topics could include holiday crafts, floral designs, business operations, as well as lawn and turf grass establishment & maintenance. Students will work with a variety of materials, both paper and computer based.
