Mrs. Brown attended Kirkwood Community College and received an Associate of Applied Science in Agricultural Business. From Kirkwood, she transferred onto Iowa State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education.
Mrs. Brown comes from a farming family that currently raises beef cattle and produces row crops. When she was younger, the family farm also raised hogs (before confinements).
Mrs. Brown is married, has a young daughter and son, and lives in Winfield. Her hobbies include helping on the family farm whenever she can, spending time with friends and family, camping, and reading.
