This car was sold new by Larry McKeel Mercury in Gresham, Oregon on February 10, 1964. It was sold to a man in Portland and was apparently stolen by an ex-wife in the 1970s, not to be returned until 4 years later. Other than this 4 year period, the car was in the hands of the original owner until 2016.
This car was fitted with 14" wheels when purchased new because the salesman at Larry McKeel Mercury told the purchaser that the 15" wheels were causing rearends to fail. The original owner also indicated that getting the power steering option was a challenge.
It was a no sale (resevre not met) for $12,875 on eBay on December 28, 2016. Mileage in the ad was listed at 69,874.
It was sold by Mainly Muscle Cars in Monroe, WA in January 2017 for $22,000.
