This car was sold new by Laev Motors in Milwaukee, Wisconson. The original owner's brother posted this invoice and made comments about the car in 2017. He said;

"I found this invoice in some boxes of paperwork after my Mother passed away. This was a car my brother bought. I was only 10 years old, and all I remember was going for a ride and almost soiling my pants. It only had F78 14 tires and they never stopped spinning. Wish I had that car now. Not sure if it's true, but it was supposedly one of only a few made."

(This report and pictures are from someone who saw this car in 1966)

Saw car on Jack White's used lot in a suburb of Milwaukee Wi. for $1888 in Feb of 1966 as pictured. Original wheel covers were gone and possibly the wheels too. Everything else was intact.

Car was on the lot for several weeks during which time my girl friend and now wife Karen-19 at the time - tried to purchase it. I couldn't buy it because I was in college and broke but I knew even way back then how special this car was. Being under age per Wisconsin law she needed her dad's signature to purchase it. Her dad was a Rambler driver at the time and after seeing it on the lot he was unimpressed with the size, noise and lack of P/S, P/B and A/T and was probably upset with me as a crazy boyfriend trying to maneuver his little 116 pound daughter into such an "impractical" car.

Eventually it sold but stayed local in our city of West Allis. We would see it on occasion peeling around town getting hammered. It was always dirty and that beautiful paint look awful with its coating of winter salt. Shortly after the sale it showed up at the corner gas station getting unknown repairs. The next time I saw it it was back at the dealership sitting outside the repair shop with the hood off and W/O an engine. A week or so later it appeared with a 390 4V under the hood and back on the lot and that about did it for the car of my dreams.
