Hub Motor Co

Hub Motor Company was a Lincoln/Mercury dealer in Lubbock, Texas from July 31, 1946 thru May 11, 1960, then again from June 15, 1964 thru June 20, 1967, and was founded by Hub Jones. Bo Boren and Tonky Murphy were grandsons of Hub Jones.

While I have no concrete evidence right now that the cars pictured here were 427 cars, the anecdotal evidence strongly suggests they were. These were young men who had a family connection with the dealership and were winning trophies and featured in advertising. Tonky Murphy and Elwood Keeney were racing for Hub Motor Company.
