The Water Department is taking samples from several sources and sending them to a lab for testing for presence of PFOA. This is the chemical that has been found in Hoosick Falls and North Bennington. We are upstream from those locations, so it is not likely that the contamination sources there would impact us upstream. The chemical is not one for which we normally test and is not required by the state. So the testing infrastructure is also not in place locally -- our lab recommended using a firm in Pittsburgh. We expect we will have data back in 2 to 3 weeks and will report those results.
