One easy way to edit a picture is by using PowerPoint or Google presentations
You can also follow the same process using Google presentations and then download final product as a jpeg.
Sample Erosion lab picture:
Please DO NOT copy this sample, use this as an example and use your own words
Start a new google presentation
Name it with your class color last name and erosion lab figure: ex: greenjoneserosionlab
Under File...Page Setup, choose "Standard setting"
Insert your picture that you wish to label sample picture to use if your picture is not good
Insert text boxes and arrows follow the rubric
When completed, Look under File ... Download as jpg
Find the downloaded picture and
Save to your y-drive and Mr. Horrigan's Dropbox: Submission: class folder
If you are sharing to a teacher's google folder, follow these instructions
Download finished slide as jpg file
Upload finished jpg back to your google drive (check Desktop Chrome Downloads folder)
Share with you teacher in the folder they specify
Using Powerpoint
Open powerpoint
Insert or copy and paste your picture into PP (You can find your pictures in LMC-Info Dropbox)
Resize the picture to fit
Click on picture and select cropping tool
Insert a text box to make a label
Draw arrows to link boxes to image
Save the powerpoint to your documents folder
Save As....and pick jpeg and save the image to your y-drive or documents folder
Rename the image with your color and YOUR name ex: greenSwiftcooler
Open Mr. Horrigan's dropbox on CMS-Dropbox site
Drag your image to "Submission" folder in Mr. Horrigan's dropbox
