Basics:
Author(s)
Title (of book, article, web page)
Publication date: year for a book or day/month for article or web page
Place of publication for books only
Publisher or web site sponsor
Name of database
URL: for websites BUT NOT for common databases..ask if you are not sure
Some samples of how to cite CMS databases:
Newsela: When referencing a Newsela article in MLA format, use the following format:
Original Author's Last Name, First Name, and Additional Author. "Title of Article." Title of Newspaper via Newsela.
Edited by Newsela Staff, Version Lexile, Date published, <URL>.

World Book: Find article & author...Online database..encyclopedia..make sure to list World Book as database
Gale: Research/Student Resources in Context: (ask if you are not sure how to do it) Often no author...Online database..encyclopedia

Wikipedia: No author...
-Include the URL of the article
Book: check Destiny to find all of the publication info...title, author, publisher, place of pub and date.
