How to convert your project into a movie to place in the dropbox

Script

    • Remember to write a script that tells your story

    • Use your notes as a starting point

    • Add as much interesting information as you can

    • Don't say too much on one slide...if you have a couple of sentences, break it up over 2 or 3 slides

    • Include some personal stories if you can find them

Photos:

    • Save all photos to the folder on your y-drive..do not save to a MS Word document

    • Make sure your photos are large enough so that they look good

    • If you find a picture in a book, ask me to scan it for you

    • Check the LMCinfo dropbox...DisasterPicts folder to see if you can find a good picture

Don't forget to...

    • Include maps of where your disaster took place...region and location

    • Make a title slide and include your first name only

    • Include music but make sure it does not distract from your project and is not too loud

Saving:

    • Save frequently & often.

    • Make sure it is being saved to your y-drive

    • Make sure your final product is being saved to your y-drive and not the local video folder on the computer

    • Did I mention saving?
