The 2027 Coca Cola Scholars Program recognizes students for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.  Applicants need a 3.0 GPA and the application deadline is September 30, 2026.

Chick-fil-A is offering scholarships to students who have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, submit transcripts, and answer questions detailed on their website.  The deadline to apply is November 3, 2026.

Iowa Limestone Producers Association offers scholarships to students pursuing the sand, stone, and gravel industry.  The application is online but offers a PDF version if a student prefers that.  The deadline to apply is November 30, 2026.

The E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship Application is open.  The recipient of this award is recognized as being representative of the most elite of the superlative Iowa Girl, not only on the playing field but also in the classroom, in her school, and in her community. Her profile will reflect discipline, perseverance, character, citizenship, and leadership, which personified the life and expectations of E. Wayne Cooley.  The deadline to apply is December 1, 2026.  WBM may nominate only one student, so see Mrs. Sulentic by October 8 if you would like to be considered for our nomination.

ISL Education Lending Scholarship offers 18 scholarships valued at $2,500 each.  This is open to parents/guardians of 9th - 12th graders.  Your parent/guardian registers to receive two emails a month and if they complete survey questions about the articles' information on college planning and financial information, they are entered to with a scholarship.  40 winners each receive $250 every quarter, too.   Deadline for this round of awards is December 4, 2026.

The 2026-27 IHSADA-NIAAA Student Athlete Scholarship is for students with scholastic, leadership, and sportsmanship qualities.  There are several qualifications for students to consider in their application, so look over the detailed list.  One male and one female will be state winners.  One male and one female as section winners receive $1,500 each and one male and one female national winners receive $2,500 each.  The deadline to apply is December 20, 2026.

The Character Counts Coach of the Year is a student's opportunity to recognize an outstanding coach.  Coach nominations should demonstrate the Six Pillars of Character.  Note that this does not provide a student scholarship but does award funds to the department of the coach.  Deadline for nominations and application is January 8, 2027.

The Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarship is open to students  and will award multiple scholarships ranging from $2,500 - $5,000 each.  Recipients can use funds to attend a 2 year or 4 year school.  Multiple areas are included in consideration for the scholarship, which has a deadline of February 1, 2027.

Southwest Airlines Community Scholarship offers $5,000 a year (up to $20,000 total) to students who will enter the airlines industry in fields such as frontline operations, customer service, aircraft maintenance, dispatch, engineering, flight operations, finance, technology, human resources, marketing, sales, or communications.  The deadline to apply is February 17, 2027.

The Karon Brown Scholarship Award is for females who show excellence in the classroom, in athletics and must plan on a future in a sports-related field. Her profile should reflect loyalty, perseverance, character, and passion for continuing a career serving female athletics.  The award is valued at $2,500 and the deadline to apply is March 26, 2027.

The Robert Smiley Scholarship is valued at $1,000 and open to female athletes.  Read the requirements to be sure you are eligible both academically and athletically.  The deadline to apply is March 26, 2027.  WBM may nominate only one student, so see Mrs. Sulentic by October 8 if you would like to be considered for our nomination.
