Chick-fil-A is offering scholarships to students who have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, submit transcripts, and answer questions detailed on their website.  The deadline to apply is November 3, 2026.

Beef  Scholarship Extravaganza is a competition held in Ames for students to demonstrate knowledge of a variety of industry topics.  The event is held in December, offering more than $15,000 in scholarships, but the deadline for entry is November 5, 2026.

The National Honors Society (NHS) Scholarship is open to students who are in NHS and are NHS account holders.  The deadline to apply is November 20, 2026.

Iowa Limestone Producers Association offers scholarships to students pursuing the sand, stone, and gravel industry.  The application is online but offers a PDF version if a student prefers that.  The deadline to apply is November 30, 2026.

The Hagan Scholarship offers $1,000 for materials and up to $7,500 per semester for college education.  There is a financial need requirement and additional opportunties offered to students who are a Hagan recipient.  The deadline to apply is December 1, 2026.

The E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship Application is open.  The recipient of this award is recognized as being representative of the most elite of the superlative Iowa Girl, not only on the playing field but also in the classroom, in her school, and in her community. Her profile will reflect discipline, perseverance, character, citizenship, and leadership, which personified the life and expectations of E. Wayne Cooley.  The deadline to apply is December 1, 2026.  WBM may nominate only one student, so see Mrs. Sulentic by October 8 if you would like to be considered for our nomination.

ISL Education Lending Scholarship offers 18 scholarships valued at $2,500 each.  This is open to parents/guardians of 9th - 12th graders.  Your parent/guardian registers to receive two emails a month and if they complete survey questions about the articles' information on college planning and financial information, they are entered to with a scholarship.  40 winners each receive $250 every quarter, too.   Deadline for this round of awards is December 4, 2026.

The Burger King Scholars Program offers scholarships valued at $1,000 to $60,000 each.  GPA, financial need, extracurriculurs, and work experience are considered for the application, which has a deadline of December 15, 2026.

The 2026-27 IHSADA-NIAAA Student Athlete Scholarship is for students with scholastic, leadership, and sportsmanship qualities.  There are several qualifications for students to consider in their application, so look over the detailed list.  One male and one female will be state winners.  One male and one female as section winners receive $1,500 each and one male and one female national winners receive $2,500 each.  The deadline to apply is December 20, 2026.

The Character Counts Coach of the Year is a student's opportunity to recognize an outstanding coach.  Coach nominations should demonstrate the Six Pillars of Character.  Note that this does not provide a student scholarship but does award funds to the department of the coach.  Deadline for nominations and application is January 8, 2027.

The United States JCI Senate Foundation College/University Scholarship is open to students who complete a detailed application that includes school and community involvement, a college acceptance letter, transcripts, reference letters, and financial information.  Awards are in the amount of $2,000 or $2,500 and the deadline to apply is January 12, 2027.

The United States JCI Senate Foundaton Vocational/Technical/Trade scholarship is available to students who provide a  detailed application that includes school and community involvement, a college acceptance letter, transcripts, reference letters, and financial information.  Awards are in the amount of $1,000 or $1,500 and the deadline to apply is January 12, 2027.

The Better Business Bureau Student of Integrity awards scholarships worth $2,500 each to students who demonstrate values, leadership, and integrity.  High schools can select only one student per school to apply, so see Mrs. Sulentic by 3:30 on Tuesday, December 1 if you are interested in being the WBM nominee.  After a selection is made, applicants have until January 31, 2027 to apply.

The Honey Producers of Iowa Scholarship is available with an offer of $500 to students who have experience with bee keeping.  The deadline to apply is February 1, 2027.

The Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarship is open to students  and will award multiple scholarships ranging from $2,500 - $5,000 each.  Recipients can use funds to attend a 2 year or 4 year school.  Multiple areas are included in consideration for the scholarship, which has a deadline of February 1, 2027.

Iowa Newspaper Foundation is open for students who plan a career in news.  Two reference letters are needed as part of the application and the deadline to apply is  February 12, 2027.

Southwest Airlines Community Scholarship offers $5,000 a year (up to $20,000 total) to students who will enter the airlines industry in fields such as frontline operations, customer service, aircraft maintenance, dispatch, engineering, flight operations, finance, technology, human resources, marketing, sales, or communications.  The deadline to apply is February 17, 2027.

The Karon Brown Scholarship Award is for females who show excellence in the classroom, in athletics and must plan on a future in a sports-related field. Her profile should reflect loyalty, perseverance, character, and passion for continuing a career serving female athletics.  The award is valued at $2,500 and the deadline to apply is March 26, 2027.

The Robert Smiley Scholarship is valued at $1,000 and open to female athletes.  Read the requirements to be sure you are eligible both academically and athletically.  The deadline to apply is March 26, 2027.  WBM may nominate only one student, so see Mrs. Sulentic by October 8 if you would like to be considered for our nomination.

The SFM Foundation/Kids Chance provides scholarships to students whose parents were killed or seriously injured in workplace accidents while working for a Minnesota or Iowa employer.  Awards are valued at up to $15,000 per year for up to 5 years of education.  The deadline to apply is March 31, 2027.

The Iowa PGA Foundation Charlie Burkart Scholarship is offered for students with an interest and activity in golf, the potential for future contributions to the game, leadership skills, community involvement, and abilties and financial need.  The application is not yet updated on the website but information is mailed out that it will be offered.  The deadline to apply is June 15, 2027.
