Six the grade art classes will continue working with the basic elements of art: color, line, shape, space and texture, work both 2 Dimensionally and 3 Dimensionally, and lessons will follow the New York State Visual Arts Standards. Art projects will encompass Art History, study of specific artists and their styles, art from other cultures and will make students aware of the close connection art has with math, science and everyday life.
