Electrical Motor Drives :
The aggregate of Electrical Motor , the Energy Transmitting link and working machine and control equipment by which the motor characteristics are adjusted and their operating conditions with respect to mechanical load varied to suit particular requirement is called an Electrical Motor Drive.
In this subject Student will be able to learn about history of DC drives, DC motor fundamentals and Mechanical System, Converter and Chopper Control of DC Drive in Open loop and Closed Loop configuration , Digital Control of DC drive and drive for special electrical machine.
