This committee focuses on policies related to faculty appointments, promotion, and tenure across the University and its schools. Each year, and whenever directed by the President of the Assembly, it reviews USU Instruction 1100 and related policies and develops recommendations for the Deans and the University President. The committee regularly updates the Faculty Senate on its work. After the Senate reviews the issues, the committee’s recommendations are formally sent to the Deans and the University President at the direction of the Assembly President.
