Mini-recital and career discussion with Young Kim

Young Kim graduated with a Master's Degree from the Rice University Horn Studio. In 2011 Young won the fourth horn position in the Sarasota Orchestra (FL).  In 2018, Young won an audition for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Assistant/Utility Horn position.

A passionate educator, Young started creating educational content for the Korean horn community in early 2019. This content, marked #HornTip (#호른팁), are essays, and translations of pedagogy materials. He is enjoying a diverse career in both performance and education and is seeking to find new ways to advocate for classical music in his community.
