Interests: I am interested in engineering microbial communities for use in a variety of biotechnological applications such as conversion of plant biomass into biofuel and other commodity chemicals.
Current Projects: My current project involves exploring regulated temperature changes in order to control species composition in microbial communities in order to optimize community metabolic performance.
