Aquinas and Calvin
In this class, we examined a number of educational philosophers from ancient times to the present and how there ideas continue to influence public education today. Each student was assigned two philosophers and have to give an hour long presentation to the class and write a paper. I did my presentation and paper on Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin. Educational Essentialism
In this class, we also examined a number of educational philosophies and how they influence contemporary public education. Like before each student is required to write a research paper and give an hour long presentation to the class. I studied educational essentialism.
